Property is still selling

You may not be seeing that ‘Sold’ sticker stuck across the ‘For Sale’ board as quickly as you once did, but property in the Highlands is still selling. Especially property under the $600,000 mark. According to PriceFinders, from October 2011 to March 2012, 260 registered propertys were sold in the four main villages; Bowral, Mittagong, Mossvale and Burradoo. The smaller villages are not included in these statistics, such as Exeter, Sutton Forrest, Bundanoon, Alpine etc. This figure equates to 10 sales per week, not a great many, true, but confirms property is still selling. Especially if the property is priced well for the current market. So if you are selling your property, don’t listen to the pat reply ‘nothing is selling in the Highlands’, know if your property is well presented and listed property, that elusive buyer will come along soon.
