Christmas in July

The Highlands are known for crisp frosty mornings,  paddocks blanketed white, fir trees and open fires –  just like Christmas in England. So every year, we have Christmas in July, just a little fun…especially for the children.

Fountaindale Grand Manor has captured Christmas this year with wonderful lit Christmas trees, tinsel, bells, fairy lights and reindeers. Plus, for the school holidays, a magic outdoor ice-skating rink. Inside, much more Christmas – an old fashioned lolly shop, Santa’s bakery with working elves, reminiscent of David Jones Christmas windows, shops on the first floor filled with antiques, books, dolls, art work, soft furnishings, ginger-bread houses, and many more interesting items for sale. On the ground floor miniature train train display surrounded by vintage toys and teddies will delight the children and bring nostalgic thoughts to the adults.

For High Tea, pop into the lounge in front of a fire, and snuggle into comfy arm chairs, a traditional buffet is served in the Ballroom and an a la carte menu is presented in the original dining room, decked out in white Christmas.

Don’t forget before you come to book your ice-skating session online at
